NEW YORK, Oct. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Citrin Cooperman Advisors LLC, the premier tax, advisory and accounting provider for private middle-market businesses and high-net-worth individuals, has acquired Rosetree Solutions, a consultancy that designs and deploys AI systems inside client businesses. The transaction accelerates Citrin Cooperman’s AI strategy while adding new capabilities to help make sure America’s smaller and middle-market businesses are not left behind as AI remakes how companies compete.

The transaction combines Citrin Cooperman’s deep understanding of its clients’ businesses, from costs and margins to pricing and cash flow, with Rosetree’s ability to build and integrate AI systems into day-to-day operations. Together, the firms will help middle-market businesses move beyond experimenting with AI to applying it across workflows, systems and business processes.

The need for AI adoption is growing quickly among small and middle-market businesses, but integration remains challenging. Seventy-six percent of small businesses now use AI, but only 14% have it fully embedded in their core operations, according to a Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Voices survey published in March. While most have tried ChatGPT or Claude, few have fundamentally changed how their business operates. By contrast, heavily funded large corporations are moving quickly to redesign workflows and operations around AI.

Citrin Cooperman intends to help close this gap by pairing its understanding of middle-market businesses with Rosetree engineers who build and run AI systems.

The acquisition builds on AI work already underway at Citrin Cooperman, focused on driving value to clients. In August, Citrin Cooperman engaged Ode, the AI engineering venture formed by Anthropic with Blackstone and others, to accelerate high-impact AI use cases across its tax, accounting and advisory practices. Additional AI-driven alliances and investments have been announced with Priority Software, Caseware, Intuit, and Tellen.

Rosetree specializes in connecting AI to the systems a business already runs. Its work spans the front office, how companies market to, sell to and serve their customers, and connects it to the back-office systems that run finance and operations, giving leaders across the C-suite one connected set of solutions and visibility.
