WitFoo invites accredited investors as its AI harness nears launch

The raise of up to US$2.5 million under Regulation D, Rule 506(c) funds the launch of a business whose products are already in production.

DUNWOODY, GA, UNITED STATES, October 29, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — A cybersecurity platform that reduces security telemetry by more than 90% before AI reads it is raising capital as it prepares to launch its AI harness.

Security teams using AI pay for what the model reads and carry the risk of what it gets wrong. WitFoo shapes security data for an AI model the way it shapes it for an analyst: the model works on the small fraction worth reasoning about, and every record in it points back to its raw evidence. That is not sampling; nothing security-relevant is discarded. The model is the customer’s choice, including models that run on the customer’s own hardware.

“Every security team is being told to put AI to work, and every one of them is finding that a model is only as useful, and only as affordable, as what it reads. We spent a decade learning to turn security data into facts that an analyst, an auditor and a board can trust. The AI harness will put a team’s own AI to work on those same facts, inside the permissions the team already sets. The products are built and in production. This raise is about launching the business, not building it,” WitFoo Chairman and co-Founder Charles Herring said.

WitFoo will demonstrate the AI harness at the launch of WitFoo Analytics 1.2.0, scheduled for release on Thursday 19 November 2026. The AI harness will put a customer’s own AI to work on the facts WitFoo has already shaped, and it will work inside the permissions the customer has already set: an AI client will act with the permissions of the user it signs in as. WitFoo hosts no AI model of its own. The release will also bring threat intelligence into context, where the analyst works, and a new interface language.

All three WitFoo product lines are already Generally Available: Analytics and Reporter reached General Availability on 30 June 2026, and Conductor already had. WitFoo is a core software component in the US$789 million US Navy award for cyber modernisation, with Accenture Federal Services as prime, and the US Navy has tested the platform on a ship at sea. On a US Navy workload, independently tested, a legacy platform required 1,700 CPUs to do the work WitFoo did with 28. WitFoo sells only through channel partners. The channel is contracted and its first transactions are now clearing.

WitFoo is priced per appliance, per year, with no data volume charges, so a customer’s bill never grows with its data. Legacy platforms price on a meter, by the gigabyte, by the event, by the credit. WitFoo removes more than 90% of what those meters count.

WitFoo exists to bring tools, people and AI onto one set of facts, and to share it; its mission is Cybersecurity for Collective Defense. Sharing on the platform is consent-gated: each organisation chooses what it shares and can take it back.

“Collective defence starts with shared facts. When every tool, person and AI model works from the same record, defenders spend their time acting on the facts instead of arguing about them,” Herring said.

WitFoo, Inc. invites verified accredited investors to participate in a private placement of up to US$2.5 million under Regulation D, Rule 506(c). A decade of research and development was built on under US$5 million of lifetime raise, and this raise is for the launch: most of it is allocated to sales and channel enablement, product and engineering, and the commercial operations of WitFoo Limited, the company’s New Zealand subsidiary. None of it funds AI hardware. Accredited investors can find the offering, and how to take part, on WitFoo’s invest page.

The launch webinar for WitFoo Analytics 1.2.0 is at 9:00 am NZDT on Thursday 19 November 2026, which is 3:00 pm US Eastern and noon US Pacific on Wednesday 18 November. Charles Herring is available for interviews; requests go to press@witfoo.com.
